Rhodes (or Rodos) is an island in the Aegean Sea, the largest of the Dodecanese Island complex and the fourth largest in Greece. It is widely known as the island of the Knights.

It is located at the southeastern edge of the archipelagos of the Dodecanese. Its length is 77th km and a width of 37th km. The population of the island exceeds 110.000 and it covers an area of 1398 square kilometers.

For many is characterized the island of contrasts, as it combines the past with modern elements. An island with rich history, beautiful natural environment, cosmopolitan resorts, beaches and tourist infrastructure.

It belongs to the most popular tourist destinations nationally and globally.
